This is the story of one of the most impacting events in my life; a sudden cardiac arrest on May 30th, 2020. My heart stopped beating for 19 minutes of which I was declared clinically dead for 4-5 minutes.
The “Chain of Survival” refers to the chain of events that must occur in rapid succession to maximize the chances of survival from sudden cardiac arrest.
The search for answers... Why did this happen? To this date, nobody knows... Years of built-up stress seems the most likely cause.
